Supporting women in tech

​At BluebowRC, the employees are 80% women. Bluebow has inclusiveness at the fore and ensures the empowerment and increase in the number of women in tech through its employment.
Also, BlewbowRC has an internship program which comprises of 75% women. With the internship program, interns learn valuable hands-on technical skills. In the design and development process, user research helps to understand user needs, behaviours, and motivations. The goal is to give interns valuable insights into understanding user research, target audience's needs, pain points and user journey to make better product designs and developments.
During the practical BluebowRC Internship program, the following and more are covered :

3. Why the high demand for User Researchers in our world today.
4. Organizations that employ User Researchers and how to get started.
5. Key roles and salary range.

7. Research methods: Exploring the different types of research methods including qualitative research.

The CEO of BluebowRC, O'Tega Temienor, has a one-on-one session with interns to understand where they are at, and decipher the next steps of needed support. He recommends online classes and gives free access to paid resources to interns so they can improve their skills. He also supports with CV review and the best keywords needed to clinch job interviews. Furthermore, interview guidance and preparation is offered.
BluebowRC goes above and beyond to see that there are more women in tech. The members of staff also take on interns whom they work closely with, coach, guide, and ensure that they impart knowledge to them. A number of staff have given feedback on how they enjoy that part of their work.
By the end of the Internship Program, interns gain a solid understanding of the key concepts and techniques in User Research, User Experience Design, and User Interface Design. They have secured tech roles in these positions with multinational companies in the UK and across the globe.
